Our Huntington Park Campus & College Experience
A traditional campus facility located in LA County, the ICDC College Huntington Park Main Campus features administrative offices, a student lounge, and spacious classrooms and laboratories where students work on developing their skills in over 13 different on-campus training programs designed to provide them with the education and skills necessary to launch their careers.
Our students are able to learn a new career or advance their existing careers in anywhere from six to nine months in programs ranging from HVAC Technician, Homeland Security & Investigations, Physical Therapy Aide, Alcohol & Drug Counseling, Medical Assistant, Computerized Accounting, Web Developer, and much more.
We understand that vocational college students are often faced with the challenges of juggling their busy private lives with their academic calendars, so we offer our students the ability to choose from a variety of schedules, including evening classes, to help them achieve their career training goals. We also provide a Student Resource Library and Resource Center with Internet and Wi-Fi access to several online resources and databases.
Working closely with students, faculty, and staff, Student Services aims to provide various types of assistance ranging from Life Skills Workshops, Student Advising, Transportation Assistance, Refresher Training, as well as other activities and resources that support students to expand their knowledge and develop their skills while at ICDC College.
The Career Services Department assists students with resume preparation, filling out mock job applications, industry-specific interview advisement, interview attire tips, presentation techniques, and instructions for conducting self-directed job searches. They also help students through job fairs, program advisory board meetings, and visits to various employment sites to meet with hiring managers and personnel.
